Considering the recent tragic incidents, We conducted a comprehensive research and our analytics reveals that over 158,000 lives lost to airplane crashes since 1918, with the USA bearing the highest toll at 24,921 fatalities. These numbers represent not just statistics, but lives, families, and communities forever impacted.

Despite advancements in aviation safety, recent incidents such as the tragic Jeju Air crash in South Korea and the December 2024 aviation disasters, including the Lion Air crash in Indonesia, the Azul Airlines crash in Brazil, the Aeroflot crash in Russia and the recent Azerbaijan Airlines crash highlight the ongoing risks. These incidents point to critical areas requiring attention, such as aircraft maintenance, pilot training, and air traffic management.

While flying remains statistically one of the safest modes of transportation, these tragedies remind us of the pressing need for global cooperation, enhanced safety protocols, and technological innovation to prevent future losses.
